IC CHARACTERISTICS
CURRENT CANON POINT: post issue 56, after nearly being zapped to death by Surge, and after the Scrapnik Island mini series
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Giant pointy blue hedgehog with green eyes, red sneakers and a shiteating grin (most of the time). He stands at around 3'3" and has little twiggy arms and legs that somehow don't shatter while he's rolling around at the speed of sound. He's just a little guy.
DEMEANOR: Laid back and usually in a good mood, with a bit of a chaotic streak threatening to show itself at any given moment. Ready to be anyone's bff, unless they're a dick.
ABILITIES: As the name implies, Sonic goes fast. While his exact top speed is unknown, he is able to surpass Mach 1. Utilizing this bonkers speed, he's been shown to be able to run vertically up the sides of buildings and run over water. Which is good, because he can't swim.

To compliment his speed, he also has incredibly good reflexes and stamina. His reflexes allow him to adapt on the fly to most situations while maintaining his momentum and effortlessly change course without having to slow down. Thanks to his deep well of stamina he can run for hours at a time, but even he can wear himself out if he's on the move nonstop for too long.

His strength and endurance can probably be best described as superhuman, especially considering his size. He regularly curls up in a little ball and bounces his entire pointy body off of big metal robots to destroy them, gets smashed or thrown through walls or nearly electrocuted to death, and he casually gets up and walks away from all of it like this is just how he spends his Tuesdays (it is).

By using the the seven Chaos Emeralds, he can transform into Super Sonic, which cranks all of his base abilities up to eleven and gives him the ability to fly. This is very unlikely to happen in game as there are no Chaos Emeralds, SO.

Also he also knows how to fly a biplane. Not as good as Tails, but it's a thing he can do.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: For the most part he's in perfect health, but he has recently (and repeatedly) injured his left leg, and has a bad habit of not sitting the fuck down and letting himself heal
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Nothing specific, but if there's a bad guy bragging about doing evil shit in general, he'll probably get pissed

IC PERMISSIONS
MENTAL: Hell yeah read this mind. He doesn't have any way to keep weirdos out of his brain. Weird side note: He is currently mentally linked with Mecha Sonic, and they can hear each other's thoughts and feel what each other are feeling. Mecha's not around, but if Sonic notices anyone else digging around in his brain, he's not gonna be thrilled.
MIMICRY: Dude there are so many fucking robot Sonic clones out there, he's used to this by now. He'll probably roll his eyes, go "WELP, MUST BE THURSDAY", and roll with it
VIOLENCE: FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT. With a little plotting, of course. I'm fine with him being injured and totally getting his shit kicked in, not so much perma-killed
MAGIC: Abra-ka-FUCKYEAH MAGIC. Use whatever kind of magic you want, I can't think of anything Nope-worthy
DEBATE: Knock yourself out, he might get bored half way through and run off to do stunts tho
